As mentioned in my blog, starting my day with some mindfulness really does help to calm the trauma reel and keep my mind calm.

You do not have to have a Crystal Cuddles bear to do these simple exercises. I find it is easier having something in my hands to focus on. That could be a crystal, a bear or something else that means something to you. 

I sit with a bear on my lap, place my hands on the crystal heart and simply breath! Slow deep breaths in, hold for a few seconds and then let that breath out real slow.
